This was one of the last films that Feroz Khan made before he passed away in April 2009. Feroz Khan was also known as the Bollywood's Clint Eastwood. Flamboyant Feroz Khan will be remembered for his unique acting (as in Qurbani 1980, Oonche Log, Upaasna (1967), Mela (1971), and Nagin (1976) in over fifty films, and for film making and directions (Apradh, Dharmatma 1975, Dayavan 1988, Janbaaz 1986). Feroz Khan, with faternal roots in Ghazi-Afghanistan, and maternal roots in Iran, won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award for Aadmi Aur Insaan in 1969/70, and was honoured with the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000. Feroz Khan first played a small role in the 1960 film Didi. Feroz Khan introduced Pakistan pop singer Nazia Hassan (03 April 1965 - 13 August 2000) who was just 15-year old Karachi-born Londoner in 1980-Qurani film, and who went on to become known as the "Queen of Pop Singing" and the "Sweetheart of Pakistan. His brothers are Sanjay Khan, Shahrukh Khan (business man) Sameer Khan and Akbar Khan (director). He has a sister Dilshad Bibi. His son, Fardeen Khan, is a leading Bollywood film star who is married to actress Mumtaz Askari's daughter. He is remembered for his larger than life presence, and excellence in Bollywood cinema.
